How to get your Google Maps link

  1. Open google.com/maps in a browser and search for your business name.
  2. Click your business so its panel opens.
  3. Copy the whole address from the browser's address bar and paste it above. It's long; that's fine.
On your phone? The Maps app's Share button gives a short maps.app.goo.gl link, which doesn't carry the info this tool needs. Open that short link in your browser first, wait for the full address to appear in the address bar, then copy that.

Common questions

Is this the same as the official review link?

It opens the same review box, stars and all. The official short link from your Business Profile is cleaner for texting, and our guide shows where to find it. This generator is the fast route when you can't sign in to the profile, or you're grabbing a link for someone else's business.

Why is the link so long?

It carries your business's Maps ID so Google opens the right review box. It works exactly the same as a short one. If you want something printable, turn it into a QR code with the button above.

My customer says it asks them to sign in

That's Google, not the link. Leaving a review requires a Google account, for every business everywhere. Most customers are already signed in on their phone.

Does my business need to be on Google Maps?

Yes. If your business doesn't come up on Maps at all, claim it first at business.google.com. Once it has a listing, this tool can build the review link.
